Verdict: Clear fee tables and 16 coins, but no verifiable licence and active state enforcement.
Availability: USA: ACCEPTED – worldpokerdeals table lists 49 states accepted, New Jersey 'the only state where BetOnline is effectively prohibited'; Michigan GCB issued a cease-and-desist (14 days to exit) in April 2025 (SBC Americas) and Washington State lists Betonline.ag among 15 operators sent cease-and-desist letters (SBC Americas, Sep 2025). Germany / Austria: unverified – no fetched page lists non-US restricted countries (Commission Kings affiliate page excludes Australia, Bulgaria, Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Hungary, Lebanon, Panama, Sierra Leone 'and other countries').
BetOnline is a US-facing offshore sportsbook, casino and poker brand founded in 2004 and operated by Blue High House S.A. in Panama. It accepts 16 cryptocurrencies and publishes a complete withdrawal fee and limit table: $3 to $12.50 on BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC, and no fee on the other twelve. Crypto withdrawals take 24 hours or less. It accepts players from 49 states with New Jersey excluded, but received a Michigan cease-and-desist in April 2025 and was named in Washington State’s 2025 letters. No licence number is published, the bonus wagering is undocumented, and the casino library is not described in any fetched source.
Licence and ownership
BetOnline is operated by Blue High House S.A., Panama City, Panama, and is governed by Panamanian law. The Michigan Gaming Control Board describes it as Panama-based and unlicensed in Michigan. No licence number appears on any fetched page. Under our rules, a licence we cannot verify by number caps trust at 5; the 2004 founding, the earliest in our comparison, adds 0.5.
Enforcement: in April 2025 the Michigan GCB issued a cease-and-desist giving BetOnline and sister site SportsBetting.ag 14 days to exit the state. Mississippi sent letters in July and December 2024. Washington State listed Betonline.ag among 15 operators sent cease-and-desist letters in September 2025. The state acceptance table we fetched (49 states, New Jersey excluded) predates the Michigan order, so Michigan should be treated as excluded too. Non-US restrictions are unverified: the affiliate program’s exclusion list names Australia, Bulgaria, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Hungary, Lebanon, Panama and Sierra Leone “and other countries”, so Germany and Austria are unknown. The sister brands under the same affiliate program are SportsBetting.ag, Super Slots, Wild Casino, TigerGaming and High Roller. See the US players page for the state picture and the licences page for why Panama registration is not treated as a verified licence.
Bonus terms in detail
The sports welcome bonus is 100% up to $1,000. Another source lists $250 in free bets and 100 free spins. The wagering requirement for the bonus is not stated in the fetched sources; the only documented rule is that deposits must be wagered at least once before cash-out. Casino bonus terms are not documented at all. Max bet, expiry and weighting are not documented.
For a brand with the most detailed fee table in our data, the bonus page is thin. A $1,000 sports bonus without a rollover figure cannot be valued. Comparable US-facing books publish theirs: MyBookie 10x on sports, BetUS 10x sports and 30x casino, Bovada 5x sports. Until the figure is visible in the terms, assume it is in that range and read the current page before depositing. No no-deposit bonus exists. For the mainstream comparison see the bonuses page.
Crypto payments
The accepted-coin list comes from the operator’s own withdrawal fee article: BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, AVAX, BNB, BCH, ADA, DOGE, LTC, MATIC, XRP, SHIB, SOL, XLM and TRX. Fiat is also accepted. Crypto withdrawals are quoted at 24 hours or less; wire transfers up to 15 business days; courier checks up to 7 business days.
Fees are fully published. BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC withdrawals cost $3 to $12.50 on a tiered scale from $20 to $100,000. AVAX, BNB, BCH, ADA, DOGE, LTC, MATIC, XRP, SHIB, SOL, XLM and TRX withdraw free, with minimums of $20 to $50 and maximums of $10,000 to $25,000 per request. Non-crypto methods are expensive: wire $45 to $60 or 3%, check $50 or 3%, person-to-person $26 to $51, money order $80. The clear implication is to withdraw in LTC, XRP, SOL or another free coin rather than BTC. KYC: standard account verification may be required before withdrawal, with ID, proof of address and sometimes payment documents. Minimum deposit is not documented. The free-coin list makes BetOnline a case study for the Litecoin casinos page.
Games and providers
No game count and no providers are documented in the fetched sources. Live casino is not confirmed. The sportsbook is the core product and poker runs on the Chico Poker Network. For a casino review this is a gap we cannot fill from the data, and the games score reflects it. Provably fair games are not documented.
Support and languages
Customer service is available 24/7 by telephone and email. Live chat is not confirmed in the fetched sources. Languages are not documented. Phone support is a genuine differentiator shared with Bovada, BetUS and MyBookie among the US-facing books and absent from every mainstream crypto casino in our set.
Before you deposit at BetOnline
- Withdraw in a free coin. LTC, XRP, SOL, DOGE, TRX, XLM, ADA, BCH, BNB, AVAX, MATIC and SHIB carry no BetOnline fee; BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC cost $3 to $12.50.
- Michigan and New Jersey are out. The 49-state table predates the Michigan order.
- Find the rollover. The sports bonus multiplier is not published externally.
- Deposits wager 1x before cash-out. No deposit-and-withdraw tests.
- Verification before withdrawal may be required: ID, address, payment proof.
- No licence number. Panama registration only.
How BetOnline compares
Wild Casino is BetOnline’s sister casino under the same Panama operator group and affiliate program, with seven coins, fee-free crypto withdrawals in 24-48 hours, a 300% up to $3,000 crypto bonus at 45x, a $3,000 per-transaction cap and 1,500+ games from Betsoft, Nucleus and Dragon Gaming. BetOnline has more coins and a faster quoted time but charges on BTC and ETH and documents no casino library. For a casino player in the group, Wild Casino’s documentation is the fuller of the two; for a sports bettor it is BetOnline.
Against Bovada and MyBookie, the other sportsbook-first offshore books with state actions: Bovada has seven coins, no fees, 25x crypto casino bonus terms and 17-plus excluded states; MyBookie has three coins, no fees, a 10x sports rollover, a $45 crypto minimum and a $2,000 per-withdrawal cap. BetOnline’s 16 coins and $25,000 maximums on free coins are the widest cashier of the three, and its 2004 founding is the earliest. All three have no published licence number. Against Sportsbet.io, the mainstream sportsbook benchmark, BetOnline has five more coins and phone support; Sportsbet.io has a Curaçao OGL number, pays the network fee and accepts no US players.
Sister brands and the affiliate network
BetOnline’s affiliate program, Commission Kings, covers BetOnline, SportsBetting.ag, Super Slots, Wild Casino, TigerGaming and High Roller. The Michigan cease-and-desist named SportsBetting.ag alongside BetOnline, so a state action against one brand in the group should be read as applying to the group. The program’s own exclusion list (Australia, Bulgaria, Cote d’Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Hungary, Lebanon, Panama, Sierra Leone and others) is the only non-US restriction data we have, and it is explicitly incomplete. The program also applies negative carryover to affiliate balances, which is a commercial detail rather than a player one, but it is consistent with a group whose documentation is strongest on money flows and weakest on product.
Score breakdown
- Trust 4.5/10. No verifiable licence number caps the score at 5; plus 0.5 for the 2004 founding; minus 1 for the April 2025 Michigan cease-and-desist and the Washington and Mississippi actions.
- Payments 7.5/10. 16 coins, full published fee and limit tables, 24 hours or less. Deductions for the BTC/ETH/stablecoin fee and undocumented minimum deposit.
- Bonus 5.0/10. 100% up to $1,000 on sports with no published rollover; casino terms absent.
- Games 5.0/10. Count, providers and live casino all undocumented; sportsbook and poker are the products.
- Support 7.0/10. 24/7 phone and email. Chat and languages not confirmed.
Verdict
BetOnline is two things at once: the most transparent cashier among the US-facing books and the least verifiable licence in our reviewed set. If you are a US sports bettor who has accepted the offshore trade-off, the fee table tells you exactly what each coin costs and the 16-coin list is wider than any mainstream operator except Stake and Jack.com. If you are choosing a casino, there is no documented library to choose. The twenty-year history counts for something, and the Michigan order counts against it. The mainstream ranking on the best crypto casinos page contains no operator that accepts US players, which is the context for every US-facing review here.
Responsible gambling: phone support makes it easy to raise limits as well as lower them. Ask for a deposit cap and keep it. Gambling is for adults only.
