If you are in the United States, most of what you read about crypto casinos does not apply to you. Every mainstream crypto casino in our database blocks the US: Stake, BC.Game, BitStarz, Cloudbet, mBit, 7Bit, FortuneJack, Roobet, Shuffle, Duelbits, Rollbit, Vave, Sportsbet.io, Thunderpick, Bets.io, Jack.com, Wild.io, Dexsport, Rakebit, Bitz, Bspin, Metaspins, Thrill, Winna, Betplay.io and 1xBit all name the United States on a restricted list we could fetch. TrustDice and Coins.Game publish no list we could find, and we do not treat silence as acceptance. The operators that do take US sign-ups are six offshore sportsbooks and casinos, Bovada, Ignition Casino, BetOnline, MyBookie, BetUS and Wild Casino, and every one of them has state exclusions, no US licence, and at least one state regulator on its case. This page lays out what each of them publishes.

Why the big crypto casinos block the United States

Online casino gambling is regulated at state level in the US, and only a handful of states license it. An operator licensed in Curaçao or Anjouan has no route to a US licence, and accepting US customers invites state enforcement and payment problems. So the brands with the most to lose geoblock the whole country. Stake.com states that it “is not available anywhere in the US”. BC.Game’s Anjouan licence conditions bar service to the US outright. Cloudbet blocks “anyone physically located” in the US and its territories.

Stake.us is the exception that proves the rule. It is a sweepstakes product from the Stake group, not a real-money casino: you buy Gold Coins and redeem Stake Cash prizes, including in crypto, with a 3x play-through. It holds no gambling licence, is excluded in around 20 states including California, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, New Jersey and Washington, and requires players to be 21 or over. We do not rank it alongside real-money operators.

The six US-accepting offshore operators, on their own terms

None of the six holds a US licence. What follows is what each operator or its help centre publishes, plus the regulatory record from 2024 to 2026.

Operator Licence (published number?) US state position Regulatory actions 2024-2026
Bovada Curaçao seal cited; no number Left 17 states plus DC as of Sep 2025; earlier excluded list named DE, MD, NJ, NV, NY, CO, CT, MI, OH, WV, DC Cease-and-desist letters from MI, CT, CO, OH, LA, DC, WV in 2024; $50,000 Tennessee fine 2024; Washington State letters Jan and Sep 2025
BetOnline Panama; no number 49 states accepted per a state table, NJ excluded; Michigan ordered it out in Apr 2025 Michigan cease-and-desist Apr 2025; Mississippi letters Jul and Dec 2024; named in Washington State letters Sep 2025
Ignition Casino Anjouan for the US site; no number 45 states; excludes DE, MD, NV, NJ, NY None surfaced in fetched sources
MyBookie Curaçao; no number State list not published; Michigan ordered it out 29 Jan 2025 Michigan cease-and-desist Jan 2025; named in Washington State letters 2025
BetUS Curaçao; no number; operator company not named State list not published; some states blocked Named in Washington State, Mississippi and Illinois actions
Wild Casino Panama; no number “Most states”; no state list published None surfaced in fetched sources

Bovada: the most complete published terms, the most regulator heat

Bovada has operated since 2011 under Harp Media B.V. and its help centre is the most detailed of the six on payments. Accepted coins are BTC, BCH, BSV, LTC, ETH and USDT, plus Bitcoin Lightning. Crypto deposit minimums are 0.0001 BTC, 5 USDT or 0.002 ETH, with a $5,000 maximum per transaction and a $20 minimum for the welcome offers. Withdrawals carry no Bovada fee; BTC payouts take up to 24 hours after approval, BCH, LTC, ETH and BSV around an hour, limited to one crypto withdrawal every 15 minutes, $9,500 BTC per withdrawal and $90,000 a week. The casino bonus is 100% up to $1,000 at 25x on the first deposit and 50x on the next two; the crypto casino bonus is 125% up to $1,250 at 25x; sports is 50% up to $250 at 5x and crypto sports 75% up to $750. All deposits must be wagered before withdrawal and account verification is required before you cash out.

Against that stands the enforcement record: cease-and-desist letters from Michigan, Connecticut, Colorado, Ohio, Louisiana, the District of Columbia and West Virginia in 2024, a $50,000 fine from the Tennessee Sports Wagering Council the same year, and two letters from the Washington State Gambling Commission in January and September 2025, the second alleging a Class C felony. As of September 2025 Bovada had left 17 states plus DC, and the published list of excluded states is incomplete, so check the cashier before depositing. Details in the Bovada review.

BetOnline: 16 coins and published fee tiers

BetOnline dates from 2004 and is operated by Blue High House S.A. in Panama. It documents the longest crypto list of the six: BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, AVAX, BNB, BCH, ADA, DOGE, LTC, MATIC, XRP, SHIB, SOL, XLM and TRX. Its fee page is unusually specific: BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC withdrawals cost $3 to $12.50 on a tiered scale from $20 to $100,000, while the other twelve coins are free with minimums of $20 to $50 and maximums of $10,000 to $25,000. Crypto withdrawals are quoted at 24 hours or less. The sports welcome bonus is 100% up to $1,000 with no rollover figure in the fetched sources; deposits must be wagered once before cash-out, and standard verification may be required before withdrawal.

A state table lists 49 states accepted with New Jersey as the only effective exclusion, but it predates the Michigan Gaming Control Board’s April 2025 cease-and-desist, which gave BetOnline 14 days to exit; treat Michigan as excluded. Mississippi sent letters in July and December 2024, and Washington State named Betonline.ag among 15 operators in September 2025. See the BetOnline review.

Ignition Casino: the clearest state list, the thinnest bonus terms

Ignition launched in 2016 and is Bovada’s sister brand. The US site is operated by Bamboo Media under an Anjouan Gaming Board licence held by Arachis Media Ltd; no licence number is published. It is the only operator of the six with a complete excluded-state list: Delaware, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey and New York, leaving 45 states. Crypto options are BTC, BSV, BCH, LTC, ETH, USDT and Bitcoin Lightning, with ETH and USDT on mainnet only and a fresh wallet address required for each withdrawal. Ignition does not state its own withdrawal fee; the wallet provider may deduct marginal fees typically under $1. The welcome bonus is listed at 150% up to $1,500 with no wagering figure in the fetched sources. Registration asks for full name, address, date of birth, email and phone, with documents if identity cannot be validated. The US site has no real sportsbook, only virtual sports. See the Ignition review.

MyBookie, BetUS and Wild Casino: thinner data, same exposure

MyBookie has run since 2014 under Duranbah Limited N.V., cites a Curaçao licence without a number, and documents only BTC, ETH and LTC. Crypto withdrawals are usually processed within 24 hours, fee-free, capped at $2,000 per request; the crypto minimum deposit is $45. The sports welcome bonus is 50% up to $1,000 at 10x rollover. Michigan ordered MyBookie.ag out on 29 January 2025 and Washington State named it in its 2025 letters. No state list beyond Michigan is published and no KYC policy is documented.

BetUS claims a 1994 founding date, cites Curaçao without a number, and does not name its operating company anywhere we could find, the biggest red flag among the six. Crypto withdrawals take 24 to 48 hours, fee-free, with a minimum of about $50; the minimum deposit is $10. The welcome offer is 125% up to $2,625 at 10x for sports and 30x for casino, with a separate 200% crypto bonus capped at $5,000. One source notes that a VPN “is needed in some states”: some states are blocked and the list is not published. BetUS was named in Washington State, Mississippi and Illinois actions.

Wild Casino belongs to the BetOnline group through BOL-SB House S.A. in Panama and has operated since 2017. It is the casino-first option of the six: BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, DOGE, USDT and BCH accepted, crypto withdrawals in 24 to 48 hours without fees, a $3,000 cap per transaction and a $20 crypto minimum. The crypto welcome package is 300% up to $3,000 at 45x followed by four 150% reloads up to $1,500 at 30x, up to $9,000 in total; free spins carry 20x wagering and a $100 maximum win. KYC is triggered before the first withdrawal with an ID and a utility bill. Sources say “most states” without listing them.

What “accepts US players” costs you

A US-facing book comes with four structural downsides.

  • No verifiable licence number. None of the six publishes one. Bovada, MyBookie and BetUS cite Curaçao, BetOnline and Wild Casino are Panama-registered, Ignition cites Anjouan. By our method an unverifiable licence keeps trust below the cap applied to any checkable Curaçao or Anjouan number. How to check a number yourself is on the licences page.
  • Unpublished state lists. Only Ignition publishes a complete one. Bovada’s is partial, BetOnline’s is out of date, and MyBookie, BetUS and Wild Casino publish none.
  • Active enforcement. Eleven states and DC have acted against at least one of these operators since 2024. A forced exit is a real risk to any balance you hold.
  • Heavier casino wagering. Wild Casino’s 45x on its crypto bonus and Bovada’s 50x on second and third deposits are at the expensive end of our whole comparison, and Bovada’s “all deposits must be wagered” rule means you cannot deposit, change your mind and withdraw. The maths is on the crypto casino bonuses page.

Legal position

We are not lawyers and this page is not legal advice. State law on online gambling varies widely, the gambling age is 21 in most states, and some states treat the player as well as the operator as acting unlawfully. None of the operators above is licensed by any US state regulator, so no state consumer-protection or dispute mechanism applies to your account. Using a VPN to reach Stake, BitStarz, Cloudbet or any other geoblocked operator does not change that and gives the operator a terms-based reason to confiscate a balance at withdrawal; the verification steps that enforce country blocks are on the no KYC page.

If you still want to deposit crypto from the US

  1. Confirm your state in the cashier or help centre before sending anything. Ignition’s five excluded states are published; for the others, ask support in writing and keep the answer.
  2. Prefer operators that publish fees and limits. BetOnline and Bovada do; BetUS and MyBookie publish far less.
  3. Use a coin with free withdrawals where a fee table exists: at BetOnline, LTC, DOGE, XRP, SOL and eight others are free, while BTC and the stablecoins are tiered.
  4. Skip or size the bonus. 25x to 50x casino wagering turns a $1,000 match into tens of thousands in required turnover.
  5. Withdraw early. Caps of $2,000 (MyBookie), $3,000 (Wild Casino) and $9,500 BTC (Bovada) per request make large balances slow to extract.
  6. Gamble only with money you can lose. Resources for US players, including 1-800-GAMBLER, are on our responsible gambling page.

Outside the US, the full ranking is on best crypto casinos, coin comparisons start with Bitcoin casinos, and the honest answer to free-money searches is on the no-deposit bonus page.

Which crypto casinos accept US players?

In our data, only the offshore books Bovada, BetOnline, Ignition Casino, MyBookie, BetUS and Wild Casino accept US sign-ups, each with state exclusions and no US licence. Stake.us accepts US players but is a sweepstakes product, not a real-money casino.

Does Stake accept US players?

Stake.com does not; it states it is not available anywhere in the US. Stake.us is a separate sweepstakes site with Gold Coins and Stake Cash, excluded in around 20 states, open to players 21 and over.

Is it legal to play at an offshore crypto casino from the US?

It depends on your state, and none of the six US-accepting operators is licensed by any US regulator. Michigan, Washington, Mississippi, Illinois and others have issued cease-and-desist orders or letters to Bovada, BetOnline, MyBookie and BetUS since 2024. We do not give legal advice; check your state’s rules.

Which states does Bovada exclude?

Bovada has left 17 states plus DC as of September 2025. The partly published list includes Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Colorado, Connecticut, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and DC. The full list is not published, so check the cashier.

Why do all the mainstream crypto casinos block the US?

Online casinos are regulated state by state and a Curaçao or Anjouan licence has no route to a US licence, so the brands with verifiable licences geoblock the country to protect them. All 26 operators in our data with a fetched restricted list name the United States.
