Ethereum is the second most widely accepted coin across the 35 operators we track, and the one where deposits go wrong most often. Three failure modes account for nearly all of it: paying a gas fee that eats a small deposit, sending USDT on the wrong network, and sending a token to a casino that only credits mainnet ETH. This page is organised around those three risks rather than around a generic “how to deposit” list, then ranks the six operators with the best documented ETH terms and covers minimums, speed and bonuses.

Risk 1: gas fees on small deposits

An Ethereum transaction pays gas to the network, not to the casino, and the amount depends on network congestion rather than on the size of the transfer. On a busy day a mainnet transfer can cost more than a small deposit is worth. That is why ETH minimums matter more than BTC minimums. The documented figures: Rakebit 0.0009 ETH, Bovada 0.002 ETH, TrustDice 0.005 ETH, Coins.Game 0.01 ETH. Operators that quote their minimum in USDT (Sportsbet.io 10 USDT, Vave and Bets.io 20 USDT, Metaspins 5 USDT, mBit 10 USDT) apply the equivalent to ETH.

On withdrawals, the policy question is who pays. Vave, Rollbit, Bets.io, BitStarz and mBit state they charge no platform fee but pass the network fee to you. Sportsbet.io states it pays the network fee on crypto withdrawals, which on Ethereum is the most valuable version of that policy. BetOnline charges $3 to $12.50 on ETH withdrawals, tiered by amount. Ignition says its own fees are not stated but the wallet provider may deduct marginal fees typically under $1. Cloudbet and Thrill say fees vary by coin without publishing amounts. Stake, Roobet, Shuffle, Duelbits, 7Bit and Jack.com do not document withdrawal fees at all; assume you pay gas.

Risk 2: Layer 2 networks that the casino does not support

Arbitrum, Base, Optimism and Polygon cut gas to cents, and wallets increasingly default to them. The catch: most casinos credit only mainnet. Ignition states explicitly that ETH and USDT deposits are mainnet only. Funds sent on a Layer 2 to a mainnet-only address are, from the casino’s side, never received. Only one operator in the set documents Layer 2 deposits: Dexsport, a decentralised sportsbook that lists Arbitrum, Base and Polygon alongside Solana, TON and Tron and supports WalletConnect registration. Dexsport has an Anjouan licence, no live chat, and no documented welcome bonus, so it is a payments-first choice rather than a casino-first one. For every other operator, including Stake, BitStarz, Cloudbet and Sportsbet.io, treat Ethereum as mainnet-only unless the cashier shows a network selector.

Risk 3: the ERC-20 USDT confusion

Tether exists on several networks. USDT on Ethereum is an ERC-20 token; USDT on Tron is TRC-20. They are not interchangeable, and a deposit sent on the wrong network is either lost or recovered only through a manual support process that most operators do not promise. The data shows how this plays out. Rakebit quotes its USDT minimum specifically as 2 USDT on TRC-20. Ignition accepts USDT on mainnet (ERC-20) only. Stake lists USDT, USDC and DAI, all available as ERC-20, alongside TRX, which suggests TRC-20 support but does not confirm it. Rollbit accepts ERC-20 tokens generally and even NFTs as deposits. Shuffle lists TRX but not USDT at all.

The practical rule: in the cashier, read the network label next to the deposit address before copying it. If the address starts with “0x” it is an Ethereum-family address and expects ERC-20 USDT (or an L2 if the casino supports one). If it starts with “T” it is Tron and expects TRC-20. Sending ERC-20 USDT to a Tron address will fail in the wallet; sending it to a mainnet ETH address at a casino that only lists TRC-20 USDT is where funds disappear.

Deposit walkthrough for Ethereum

  1. Confirm your country is not on the operator’s restricted list. All 16 mainstream operators block the USA.
  2. In the cashier, pick ETH and check the network label. If there is a network selector and you are not sure, choose Ethereum mainnet.
  3. Check the minimum against the gas estimate in your wallet. If gas is more than 10% of the deposit, wait or use a cheaper coin; every ETH casino in the top ten also takes Litecoin or Tron.
  4. Send from a wallet you control, not from an exchange that may batch withdrawals or use an internal address format.
  5. Decide on the bonus before the deposit lands. The bonus minimum is often higher than the cashier minimum: Shuffle needs $100, Roobet $10, Bovada $20.

ETH minimums, speed and fees

Operator ETH minimum Withdrawal time Fee policy Networks documented
Sportsbet.io 10 USDT equivalent Minutes Site pays network fee Not documented
Stake Not documented 0-2 days Not documented Not documented
Rollbit Not documented Almost instant after confirmation No Rollbit fee, network fee applies ERC-20 tokens accepted
Rakebit 0.0009 ETH Instant on approval Not documented USDT on TRC-20
Bovada 0.002 ETH About 1 hour No Bovada fee Not documented
Ignition Not documented After confirmations, no time stated Wallet fee under $1 Mainnet only
Dexsport Not documented Instant Not documented Arbitrum, Base, Polygon
BetOnline Not documented 24 hours or less $3 to $12.50 Not documented
TrustDice 0.005 ETH 0-2 days Not documented Not documented

One speed detail worth knowing: at Bovada, ETH withdrawals are quoted at about one hour while BTC takes up to 24 hours. For a US-facing player who has already accepted that operator’s risks, ETH is the faster rail there.

Bonuses on ETH deposits

Welcome bonuses are almost never capped in ETH; they are capped in dollars or in BTC and converted. Stake’s 200% up to $2,000 (40x deposit plus bonus, Level 2 KYC) and Shuffle’s 200% up to $1,000 (40x total balance by one source, 35x deposit plus bonus by another) apply to ETH deposits at the converted value. BitStarz’s 1 BTC cap applies in ETH equivalent at 40x bonus. Sportsbet.io’s 100% up to 300 USDT can be taken in USDT, mBTC, TRX or TON but not ETH. Cloudbet’s cash-reward package at 1x deposit is the lightest. Because ETH’s price moves, a bonus credited at deposit time in ETH can be worth more or less in dollars by the time wagering is complete; the requirement is fixed in the credited amount. Full term extracts for ten operators are on the crypto casino bonuses page.

ERC-20 tokens beyond ETH

Some cashiers accept tokens that live on Ethereum, which widens what you can deposit from a single wallet. Stake’s list of 18 includes LINK, SHIB, APE, DAI, USDC, MATIC and CRO alongside ETH. Jack.com’s 18 include LINK, MATIC, SHIB and DAI. BetOnline’s 16 include AVAX, MATIC and SHIB, all of which withdraw free under its fee table. Rollbit accepts ERC-20 tokens generally and NFTs as deposits. Duelbits lists APE. The caution is the same as for USDT: a token that exists on several chains (MATIC on Ethereum versus Polygon, USDC on Ethereum versus Solana) must be sent on the network the cashier names. Operators with short lists, such as Roobet (four coins), Shuffle (five) and Wild.io (five), do not accept ERC-20 tokens beyond what they name, and sending an unlisted token to a listed ETH address will not be credited.

Verification timing also interacts with ETH deposits. Vave, 7Bit and Metaspins require KYC before the first withdrawal. Coins.Game triggers identity verification at $2,000 in deposits and source-of-wealth checks above $5,000. A large ETH deposit made before reading those thresholds can be locked behind document review on the way out.

Operators that take ETH but not stablecoins

If you plan to hold a balance for weeks, a stablecoin removes price risk. Not every ETH casino offers one. 7Bit lists BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, BCH and BNB with no USDT or USDC. Duelbits lists BTC, LTC, DOGE, ETH, APE and BNB. Wild.io lists BTC, ETH, TRX, ADA and XRP. MyBookie and BetUS take only BTC, ETH and LTC. At those sites your ETH balance stays exposed to the market for as long as it sits in the account. Stake, Cloudbet, Jack.com, BetOnline, Rakebit and Coins.Game list both USDT and USDC; Sportsbet.io, BitStarz, mBit and Vave list USDT.

Alternatives on the cheaper chains are covered on the Litecoin casinos and Bitcoin casinos pages, and the licence position of each operator on the licences page.

Do Ethereum casinos accept Layer 2 deposits?

Almost none. Dexsport is the only operator in our set that documents Arbitrum, Base and Polygon. Ignition states mainnet only. Treat every other operator as mainnet-only unless the cashier shows a network selector.

Who pays the gas fee on withdrawals?

Usually you. Sportsbet.io is the exception, stating it pays the network fee. BetOnline charges its own $3 to $12.50 fee on ETH. Vave, Rollbit, Bets.io, BitStarz and mBit charge nothing themselves but pass the network fee on.

What happens if I send TRC-20 USDT to an ERC-20 address?

Your wallet will normally reject it because the address formats differ. The dangerous case is the reverse at a casino that lists only one network for USDT, where funds can be credited nowhere. Read the network label in the cashier before copying any address.

What is the lowest ETH minimum deposit?

Rakebit at 0.0009 ETH, then Bovada at 0.002 ETH and TrustDice at 0.005 ETH. Most other operators quote minimums in USDT or BTC and convert.

Are there Ethereum-denominated welcome bonuses?

Not in our data. Bonuses are capped in dollars (Stake, Shuffle, Roobet) or in BTC (BitStarz, mBit, Vave, TrustDice) and converted at deposit time. The wagering requirement is fixed in the credited amount regardless of later price moves.
